Sidney Lo featured in GLOSS Brazzil

Eu me masturbo!!!! I just found out I am featured in the latest issue of Brazilian magazine GLOSS. They did a nice little write up on my project and even put in a few photographs with the dates on them. Pretty cool. Thanks Revista Gloss Mag for the scans.

Terminator binary sexy time

Odd flickr image set with robotic sexy time positions and binary titles as well. This one is entitled: “01001000 01100001 01100011 01101011 01101001 01101110 01100111 00100000 01110100 01101000 01100101 00100000 01010011 01111001 01110011 01110100 01100101 01101101” which translates into “Hacking the System”.
It’s pretty damn creepy… but executed a bit more realistically than the other binary action I am familiar with:

Ghost in the Shell remake
Dreamworks secures the rights to remake Ghost in the Shell into a live-action movie.
Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo. That is all.

Art of the Title Sequence
The Art of the Title Sequence is a fresh collection of creative and inspiring title sequences from well-known films and television series. One of my favorites on that list is Cowboy Bebop from 1998.
My other favorites include Se7en, Dexter, Catch Me If You Can, and Planet of the Apes, to name a few.

Pogo - Polaroid’s digital solution
Polaroid Digital Mobile Photo Printer, or Pogo for short, seems to be the new solution to the recent demise of the polaroid. Via USB or Bluetooth, this mini-printer uses Zink™ technology to free the user of using any ink. It utilizes “advanced composite material with embedded yellow, magenta and cyan dye crystals, activated with 200 million heat pulses, in 30 seconds, in a single pass”.
I’m skeptical this is going to replace the demographic and market that polaroids have, but it seems to be going in the right direction. Pogo seems to still have to many hitches to make it as spontaneous as the polaroid.
