Pale red Katrina

I was trying to play with noir-esque tones against the splash of a highly vibrant color in the studio last week, but it didn’t turn out the way I had envisioned. I retooled it quickly and managed to come up with something fairly reminiscent of the imagery in my mind. Thanks so much for sitting in for an hour Katrina; I can’t believe you actually made it down to the studio in a reasonable amount of time.

Studio lighting experiments

I worked on some color filtered highlights in the studio on Thursday. While there are some tweaks I’d like to do next time, as far as the primary lighting source, I’m happy with the execution considering the short period of time I had to come up with an idea to work with. continue reading »»
