Kanye West dresses better than gay people

After the interview with The Guardian about fashion and homosexuality with Kanye West, New York magazine got a brief moment to clarify things with Mr. West.

What kind of reaction have you gotten for saying that you dress better than a lot of gay people?
“What did I say?”

You said that now that you know more gay people, you realize a lot of them don’t dress well.
“But there’s a lot of gay people that dress better than me, too. No, I just think it’s a stereotype that all gay people dress good, and then it’s also a stereotype that if you dress good, you’re gay.”

This is some second-coming-of-Jesus type realization. Congrats.

Datamoshing (not safe for eyes)

My brains just turned to goo. Kanye West‘s new video features keyframe skipping, whereby images glitch over the proceeding image as a ghost artifact, leading to some visually intentional overlays and mindfucks. This mediocre song follows suit with Chairlift’s equally mediocre song which was released, a few days prior to Mr. West’s, in similar datamoshing fashion.
